SBRX80L / Light Swimbait Rod
Ideal for smaller baits, this rod matches well with 5" to 7" sized swimbaits that weigh as light as 3/4oz. up to 2oz. The SBRX80L is designed to have a moderate taper which allows even loading along the length of the rod for easy, controlled casting. Hook sets are a snap due the rods light weight and balanced feel while still maintaining responsive fish fighting control after hooking that trophy fish. The SBRX80L Tournament Swimbait Rod is a perfect match for throwing 6" and 7" Triple Trouts, 6" Baitsmith, and the Osprey 6" Tournament Talon.

SBRX80M / Medium Swimbait Rod
The perfect swimbait rod for mid-sized baits, this rod was designed for throwing 8"-10" swimbaits that weigh between 1 1/2oz - 4 1/2oz. Whether you need to walk the 8" Lunker Punker, straight wind the 8" & 10" Triple Trout or bounce the bottom with the Huddleston Deluxe ROF16, this rod can easily do it all! One step up from the SBRX80L in power rating, the SBRX80M Tournament Swimbait Rod has the same casting and loading characteristics, but its overall light weight and balance are key features so that you can cast all day long with minimal wrist fatigue.

SBRX78H / Heavy Swimbait Rod
This is the rod of choice for throwing those larger, heavier "Big Baits". When you need the power to cast baits that weigh up to 8oz, the SBRX78H has the rod stiffness to do the job. Moderate taper and even loading along the length of the rod, again, are key features when casting heavy baits so that you get well controlled casts without sacrificing trophy fish fighting ability. The SBRX78H Tournament Swimbait Rod is perfect for casting the 10" Heavy Triple Trout, 10" AC Casitas Fast Sink and the "Old School" 10" Castaic Swimbait.

What is torsional twist and why is it important? - Torsional twist occurs on standard-wrapped (conventionally-wrapped) casting rods due to the line-load being on top of the rod. As a load is placed on the top of the rod, the guides want to rotate/twist under the blank which creates fatigue on an angler’s wrist and can also lead to rod failure.
